Science-fiction movie Repo Men, starring Jude Law, came out on DVD, Blu-ray and download on July 27, 2010, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
The film, which grossed $13.7 million in theaters, is set in the near future, when a large corporation sells mechanical organs to people like cars and, if payments aren’t made regularly, the organs are repossessed — and not always too humanely. Jude Law plays one of the best repo man, along with partner Forest Whitaker (Our Family Wedding). But when an accident makes Law wake up from a coma with one of the corporation’s organs inside him, the tables are turned. Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Alice Braga (I Am Legend) also star.
Shot in 2007-2008, Repo Men took a while before it came to theaters, and when it did, it received not too favorable reviews from critics (14% approval, according to Rotten Tomatoes). But audiences responded more favorable (48% approval on Rotten Tomatoes), and the movie is likely to find new fans on DVD and Blu-ray.
Those fans have two versions of the movie to enjoy: the theatrical version and an unrated director’s cut that’s seven minutes longer. Both are shown in anamorphic widescreen, aspect ratio 2.40:1.

I really liked Repo Men, but I think the ending is why it got panned.
Yeah, could be. I saw this in theaters too and really liked the movie. It’s definitely action-packed, and has a really interesting premise. Good performances too and some twists that I didn’t see coming, which is rare for me.
