The Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy The Back-up Plan arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug. 24, 2010.
Grossing $37 million at the box office, The Back-up Plan tells the story of Zoe (Lopez), a single New Yorker who, after a series of bad relationships, decides to skip the husband and go straight for the baby. Everything’s working out great until Zoe meets the man of her dreams (Alex O’Loughlin of Whiteout). Now she has to decide whether to hide her pregnancy or spill and risk him running.
The Back-up Plan is helmed by TV director Alan Poul.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is keeping the extras on the discs light. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will include deleted scenes and the featurette “Belly Laughs: Making The Back-up Plan.”
The Blu-ray also will include BD-Live Web access and Sony’s MovieIQ feature, which allows viewers to get trivia on the movie, cast and music while watching the film.
The DVD will be priced at $28.95 and Blu-ray at $34.95.
