New Release: The Extreme Hangover Edition DVD and Blu-ray

The never-ending hangover continued on Oct. 12, 2010, when Warner Home Video released The Extreme Hangover Edition on DVD and Blu-ray.

The special edition of the 2009 smash comedy movie The Hangover The Hangover movie scene(which has already sold 8.5 million copies on DVD and Blu-ray, according to the studio) contains an exclusive 28-page wedding album featuring missing photos of the boys on their ill-fated Las Vegas jaunt, including snapshots from co-star Ed Helms’ Vegas wedding and more incriminating photos from the lost camera, which weren’t shown in theaters.

Additionally, this new Extreme Edition DVD release boasts everything from the original two-DVD special edition, including a Map of Destruction, retracing the fate-filled evening, action and cursing mash-ups and extras from The Dan Band, Iron Mike and the three groomsmen, including a hilarious gag reel.

The Extreme Blu-ray edition contains exclusive BD-Live content and picture-in-picture commentary featuring stars Helms (TV’s The Office), Bradley Cooper (The A-Team) and Zach Galifianakis (Youth in Revolt) and director Todd Phillips (Old School).

The Extreme Hangover Edition was available for suggested retail price of $39.92 in a two-DVD set and $49.99 on Blu-ray.
