1990 horror/comedy movie Tremors was released on Blu-ray
The classic creature feature, starring Kevin Bacon (Hollow Man, Footloose), Fred Ward (Armored), Michael Gross (TV’s Family Ties and ER) and Reba McEntire (TV’s Reba), tells the story of a group of residents in a small desert town called Perfection who are attacked by giant worms living under the sand. The monsters, which they call graboids, start killing off the people of the town one by own, and the remaining residents must fight back any way they can.
Tremors was McEntire’s first film.
The PG-13 movie became a cult favorite among horror fans and spawned three video sequels: Tremors II: Aftershocks, Tremors 3: Back to Perfection and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins.
On Blu-ray, Tremors comes with these special features:
- “The Making of Tremors” featurette, which was on the DVD of Tremors released in 2004
