Animated adventure Iron Man: Extremis arrived on DVD
on Nov. 3, 2010, from Shout! Factory. The debut was a little over a month after the theatrical hit Iron Man 2, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, was released on DVD and Blu-ray.
The latest installment in the Marvel Knights Animation television series, Iron Man — Extremis finds Tony Stark facing his greatest threat, a terrorist who’s transformed into an unstoppable force when he takes a bio-engineered Extremis super-soldier serum.
Priced at $14.97, the DVD includes six episodes and these special features:
- “A Conversation With Adi Granov,” co-creator of the story line
- “Behind-the-Scenes Look at Marvel Knights Animation”
- “Visual History of Iron Man”
- and a music video.
