Gordon Gekko returned to homes on Dec. 21, 2010, when 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps on DVD and Blu-ray.
The follow-up to Oliver Stone’s 1987 stock broker drama Wall Street, the new movie continues the story of Gordon “Greed is good” Gekko (Michael Douglas, Traffic) as he’s released from prison. When Jake (Shia LaBeouf, Transformers) shows up saying he’s engaged to Gekko’s daughter (Carey Mulligan, An Education), Gekko sees an opportunity to worm his way back into her life, while also helping himself back onto the top of Wall Street.
Also directed by Stone, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps also stars Josh Brolin (Jonah Hex), Eli Wallach (The Ghost Writer), Susan Sarandon (Bull Durham) and Frank Langella (The Box). The PG-13 film grossed $52 million when it ran in theaters.
The DVD, priced at $29.98, includes these special features:
