Army Wives sceneOn Dec. 14, 2010, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released Army Wives: The Complete Fourth Season on DVD, priced at $39.99.

The popular TV show, which is the most successful series in the history of Lifetime Television, stars Kim Delaney (TV’s NYPD Blue), Catherine Bell (TV’s JAG), Selly Pressman (My Best Friend’s Girl), Brigid Brannagh (Over There) and Sterling K. Brown (Righteous Kill).

In the fourth season of the award-winning drama about the lives of the men and women who serve in the U.S. Army, five families deal with a tragic loss, a pregnancy and anxiety about career moves, among other issues.

The fourth season of Army Wives also boasts musical performances from Wynonna Judd and Five For Fighting, plus guest stars including Harry Hamlin (TV’s L.A. Law), Ann-Margret (Tommy) and Gabrielle Union (TV’s FlashForward).

The DVD set contains these special features:

  • 18 deleted scenes
  • bloopers, outtakes and gags
  • “Safety First: From Script to Screen” featurette with the cast and crew on the set during production
  • “Southern Cooking Army Wives Style” featurette in which the cast and crew get a cooking lesson from Charleston chef Brett McKee
  • and “Military Jargon” featurette, with the cast tested on their knowledge of military slang.
