New Release: Never Let Me Go Blu-ray and DVD

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released the science-fiction thriller Never Let Me on Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 1, 2011, for the suggested retail prices of of $39.99 and $29.98, respectively.

Adapted from acclaimed author Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel and directed by Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo), the movie stars Academy Award-nominees Carey Mulligan (An Education), Keira Knightley (the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise) and newcomer Andrew Garfield (The Other Boleyn Girl).

The story of Never Let Me Go revolves around Kathy (Mulligan), Ruth (Knightley) and Tommy (Garfield), three best friends who grow up together at an English boarding school with a chilling secret. When they learn the shocking truth – that they are genetically engineered clones destined to be organ donors – they embrace their fleeting chance to live and love.

Special features on the DVD and Blu-ray include the featurette “The Secrets of Never Let Me Go,” a 30-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, featuring the cast and crew as they chronicle the journey from book to the big screen.
