New Release: Siren DVD

Siren has been described as a “mind-bending orgy of sex, gore and betrayal” by Britain’s Maxim.com, which translates into graphic erotic thriller to us! You can find out the low-down on the 2010 British movie for yourself, because Lionsgate released the film on DVD in the U.S. on March 22, 2011.

The film tells the story of businessman Ken (Eion Macken, Centurion) and his girlfriend Rachel (Anna Skellern, The Descent, Part 2), who are in desperate need of a weekend away from the city. They meet up with an old friend, the too-worldly-for-his-own-good Marco (Anthony Jabre).

Together, they escape to the coast of North Africa in search of relaxation, but instead, the trio find themselves in grave danger after one of them spots a sultry young woman (Tereza Srbova of Inkheart) in need of help on one of the islands off the coast.

Shot in Tunisia and written and directed by first-time film director Andrew Hull, Siren is a DVD premiere movie that carries a suggested retail price of $26.98.

Bonus materials on the DVD include a selection of deleted scenes.
