New Release: Beauty and the Briefcase Blu-ray and DVD

On Feb. 8, 2011, Image Entertainment released the hit 2010 ABC family movie Beauty and the Briefcase, starring Hilary Duff (A Cinderella Story), on DVD and Blu-ray.

Based on the book Diary of a Working Girl by Daniella Brodsky, the DVD and Blu-ray of Beauty and the Briefcase carry list prices of $27.97 and $29.97, respectively.

In the romantic comedy, bright journalist Lane Daniels (Duff) gets her dream shot at writing for Cosmopolitan magazine when she successfully pitches her article, “Switching Careers to Find Love,” to Cosmo’s editor Kate White (Jaime Pressly, TV’s My Name is Earl) who enthusiastically accepts the idea, recognizing a potential cover story.

Lane’s editor gives her enthusiastic recruit some very firm, very simple rules: first, land a corporate job, then date as many eligible co-workers as possible! Navigating her way through her new corporate world, she ultimately meets Liam (Chris Carmack, TV’s The O.C.), a dashing music producer who works outside her office. Dating him would mean breaking the rules, and suddenly career and love threaten to collide. What to do…!?

Nominated for a 2011 People’s Choice Award, Beauty and the Briefcase premiered on ABC Family in April 2010 and has been available on Netflix’s video streaming service.

No special features are on the DVD or Blu-ray.
