The first season of the acclaimed SyFy television series Haven, described by one critic as “Stephen King meets The X-Files,” arrived on Blu-ray and DVD on June 14, 2011, from Entertainment One.

Haven: The Complete First Season Blu-ray and DVD carry the suggested list prices of $49.98 and $44.98, respectively.

From the creative team behind such series as The Dead Zone, Tru Calling and Hung, Haven revolves around the investigations conducted by FBI agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose, TV’s Brothers & Sisters), who travels to the small town of Haven, Maine, to solve the murder of a local ex-con. Soon, she discovers that Haven is a refuge for people with supernatural powers, and it’s up to her to unlock the town’s mysterious secrets, including the hidden truth about her own past.

The second season of Haven, which also stars Eric Balfour (Skyline) and Lucas Bryant (TV’s Sex, Love & Secrets), premiered on SyFy in July.
