Heist thriller Takers was released on DVD
The movie stars Idris Elba (The Losers), Paul Walker (Fast & Furious), Chris Brown (Stomp the Yard), Michael Ealy (TV’s The Good Wife) and rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris as a group of criminals who baffle police by pulling off perfect bank robberies. But when they attempt a heist worth more money than any other job, they’re interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon, Armored) determined to find the culprits.
Hayden Christensen (Jumper) also stars in the film, which grossed $57 million in theaters.
On DVD, Takers was priced at $28.95 and at $34.95 on Blu-ray.
The PG-13-rated movie comes with these special features on both formats:
- commentary with Harris, director John Luessenhop and producers Will Packer and Jason Geter
- and music promo “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” by Harris.
The Blu-ray also has:
- “Executing the Heist: The Making of Takers” featurette
- “Take Action!” featurette looking at the film’s stunts
- and Sony’s MovieIQ feature that shows trivia about Takers while the movie plays.
