United States of Tara: The Third Season scene

Toni Collette exudes personality--and then some--in United States of Tara.

Paramount Home Entertainment released the third season of the smash Showtime original television series United States of Tara on DVD on Aug. 2, 2011.

The TV show stars Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense) in her Emmy Award-winning role as a mother of two while she struggles with multiple personality disorder.

United States of Tara’s season 3 finds Tara attempting to unravel some of her family’s more shocking secrets (and believe us, there are a lot of’em!). Meanwhile, Tara’s two children (Keir Gilchrist of It’s Kind of a Funny Story and Brie Larson of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) explore their own shifting identities (their mom ain’t the only one with a wide-range of personalities!), while Tara’s sister Charmaine (Rosemarie DeWitt, TV’s Mad Men) gets wrapped up in a complex but steamy love triangle.

Created by Diablo Cody (Oscar-winning screenwriter of Juno), the TV show also stars John Corbett (Sex and the City 2) as Tara’s husband.
