But is he really happy? Hugh Hefner and his latest ladies star in The Girls Next Door.

On July 19, 2011, MPI released the DVD of The Girls Next Door: Season Six, another cycle of the hit E! television series about seemingly immortal Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and the women who share his life and love. The double-disc set carries the list price of $24.98.

This season of the reality TV show introduces fans to Hef’s latest trio of beautiful girlfriends, including twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon and Crystal Harris, Hef’s former fiancé who pulled the plug on their nuptials a week before it was scheduled to go down. But as these 10 episodes were produced long before the much-publicized break-up, all we see are the happy times as Hef and company indulge in the ultimate Playboy lifestyle.

Also featured in this set are original Girls Next Door stars Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, who can all be seen in the hour-long episode “Transitions” from season five, which reveals how their tenure at the Playboy Mansion ultimately came to a close.

As was the case with earlier seasons of The Girls Next Door on DVD, the Season Six discs will contain footage not seen on the E! broadcasts.
