The Disco Exorcist movie sceneFilled with blood, boobs and bell-bottoms, the 2011 cult horror film The Disco Exorcist pays tribute to the sleazy exploitation films of the 1970s.

The movie revolves around Rex Romanski (Michael Reed), a 1970s disco swinger who loves and leaves the wrong woman – the wicked black magic priestess Rita Maria (Ruth Sullivan). So now it’s up to Rex to undo the scorned Rita’s rampage of revenge, murder and destruction before she claims more lives, and takes over the soul of the woman he loves (Sarah Nicklin)

Directed by Richard Griffin (an enthusiastic independent filmmaker whose previous credits include 2007’s Splatter Disco and 2005’s Raving Maniacs), the unrated Disco Exorcist has gotten some exposure online and on the underground film circuit. It’s more-or-less making its U.S. commercial debut on DVD.’
