Nick Stahl and Olivia Wilde meet in an institution for the criminally insane in On the Inside.

Nick Stahl (Afghan Luke ), Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens) and Dash Mihok (I am Legend ) star in the 2011 psychological thriller On the Inside.

Stahl is Allen Meneric, a troubled man who’s committed to a psychiatric institution for the criminally insane after carrying out a brutal revenge murder. There, he is forced to deal with the very ill and the dangerous until, as part of a socialization program, he is transferred to minimum security where he meets beautiful bipolar female inmate Mia (Wilde). Ever haunted by his past, Allen seeks his redemption when sudden events demand that he protect Mia from the violence and chaos of the institution.

Written and directed by D.W. Brown, the film also features Daniel Franzese (I Spit on Your Grave), Pruitt Taylor Vince (TV’s The Walking Dead), and Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog).

On the Inside’s release on DVD and Blu-ray represents its commercial debut in the U.S.

No bonus features are on the discs.
