After releasing the complete series of Friends on high-definition Blu-ray, Warner got together single-season sets.
Friends: The Complete First Season and Friends: The Complete Second Season each carry 24 episodes, including the pilot, the birth of Ross’ (David Schwimmer, John Carter) son, Joey (Matt LeBlanc, TV Episodes) and Chandler (Matthew Perry, TV’s Go On) losing Ross’ baby, Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow, Easy A) getting a divorce and the beginning of the on-again/off-again romance of Ross and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston, The Switch).
Guest stars in the two seasons include Jean-Claude Van Damme (The Expendables 2), Brooke Shields (Furry Vengeance), Julia Roberts (Eat Pray Love) and Tom Selleck (TV’s Blue Bloods).
Both season have special features on Blu-ray. On season 1:
- producers’ commentary on the pilot episode
- “Remember Friends of Friends” with clips of guest stars
- the season 2 trailer.
On season two:
- “Friends of Friends Guestbook”
- “Learn What’s Up With Your Friends”
- the uncut version of “Smelly Cut.”
