Touchy Feely movie scene

Youv'e got to hand it to Rosemarie DeWitt in Touchy Feely.

The 2013 independent comedy film Touchy Feely stars Ellen Page (Super), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Company Men), Josh Pais (Syrup), and Scoot McNairy (Monsters).

Abby (DeWitt) is a sought after massage therapist and a free spirit, while her brother Paul (Pais) thrives on routine, running a failing dental practice with his assistant and daughter Jenny (Page). Suddenly, Abby develops an aversion to bodily contact, which not only makes her unable to do her job, but also severely affects her relationship with her boyfriend (McNairy). As Abby navigates her way through an identity crisis, her brother’s dental practice receives new life when clients seek out his “healing touch.”

Written and directed by Lyn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister), the R-rated Touchy Feely premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2013, and then went on to a limited release in theaters and a VOD premiere in September, 2013. Critics were unmoved, with the film receiving a 5.4/10 rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 42 published reviews.

Bonus features on the DVD and Blu-ray include a collection of extended scenes and a broadcast piece, “AXS TV: A Look at Touchy Feely.”
