Captain America: The Winter SoldierAnother addition to the Avengers movies, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the second installment with the pumped up war hero as the focus.

Chris Evans (The Losers) again picks up the star studded shield for the Captain America role, with Scarlett Johansson (Don Jon) returning as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson (The Other Guys) as Nick Fury.

PG-13 The Winter Soldier also adds newcomers Robert Redford (All is Lost), Frank Grillo (Zero Dark Thirty), Emily VanCamp (TV’s Revenge) and Anthony Mackie (Gangster Squad) as Falcon.

This time, Evans’ Captain America must go on the run when S.H.I.E.L.D. comes under attack. Not knowing who he can trust, Captain America joins Johansson’s Black Widow to solve a plot that threatens the world.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier earned better reviews from critics and moviegoers than the first Captain America film, and the original had good reviews. The 2014 movie also over-grossed its predecessor, earning $254 million at the box office, compared to the 2011 original’s $176.7 million.
