The beloved 1967 British drama To Sir, With Love, a 1960s classic about an earnest teacher (Sidney Poitier, The Slender Thread) who takes up a position in a tough school in London’s East End, makes its Blu-ray debut from Twilight Time.

The unrated film was adapted (from the book by E.R. Braithwaite) by best-selling novelist James Clavell (Shogun), who also produced and directed. Joining Poitier are such supporting players as Judy Geeson (Man in a Suitcase), Suzy Kendall (Torso), and Lulu, who sings the smash-hit title song.

As supplier Twilight Time prints up only 3,000 copies of each title, be prepared to preorder To Sir, With Love on its prebook date of Jan. 28 from distributor Screen Archives .
