Generally following the story from the Capcom-created video game, Dead Rising begins when a mandatory government vaccine fails and a full-scale zombie epidemic ensues, leaving news reporter Chase Carter (Jesse Metcalfe, TV’s Desperate Housewives) and three other survivors are trapped inside a quarantine zone.  The team must use everything they can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and evade becoming part of the undead horde.

Directed by Zach Lipovsky, Dead Rising also features Virginia Madsen (Father of Invention), Dennis Haysbert (Sin City: A Dame To Kill For) and Rob Riggle (The Internship) in its cast, along with the luscious Julia Benson, who we fell madly in love back in 2009 when she portrayed Lt. Vanessa James in the short-lived 2009 sci-fi show Stargate: Universe.
