Directed by Nancy Meyers (It’s Complicated) from her own screenplay, the comedy The Intern stars Academy Award winners Robert De Niro (The King of Comedy) and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables).
In the movie, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway). Wackiness ensues…
The film’s cast also features Rene Russo (Nightcrawler), Adam DeVine (Pitch Perfect), Nat Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars), and Zack Pearlman (The Virginity Hit).
