Filmmaker Tinto Brass’s (Monamour) titillating 1991 erotic comedy Paprika stars the voluptuous Italian starlet Deborah Caprioglio as a young country girl who takes a job in a brothel in order to help her fiancée get the money to start his own business.

In her new found work of pleasure, the innocent girl’s life slowly turns into sleaze and degradation and she becomes a professional prostitute named Paprika, a nickname given to her by the madam of the establishment.

Brass’s personal and faithful adaptation of John Cleland’s Fanny Hill has been issued on DVD and VHS a handful of times over the past quarter of a century, but Cult Epics’ new release represents the first time it has been ve been available on Blu-ray in the U.S.
