Writer-director-producer Robert Rossen brings us the epic story of Alexander the Great (1956), a vivid Cinemascope chronicle of history’s great conqueror.

He’s surrounded by an all-star cast that includes Claire Bloom (Richard III), Fredric March (Inherit the Wind), Danielle Darrieux (The Earrings of Madame de…), Michael Hordern (Where Eagles Dare), and Harry Andrews (Solomon and Sheba).

Presented in all its stunning visual grandeur on high-definition Blu-ray, this grand production is also highlighted by a great score form the great Mario Nascimbene, which is available on this Twilight Time release as an isolated track.
