Uptight Jason (Efron) is a week away from marrying his boss’s daughter. But everything changes when Jason’s fooled into driving his foul-mouthed, free-living granddad (De Niro) to Florida for spring break-and thrown into a series of frat parties, bar fights, and epic misdeeds on a road trip that gives new meaning to family bonding.

Directed by Dan Maser, the film also stars Aubrey Plaza (TV’s Parks & Recreation), Zoey Deutch (Vampire Academy), Julianne Hough (Rock of Ages), Jason Mantzoukas (Neighbors), Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon) and Dermot Mulroney (August: Osage County).
Dirty Grandpa was loathed by the critics upon its wide release to theaters in January, 2016, garnering a meager 11% rating at aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based on 112 published reviews. It did, however, make a little noise at the box office, where it rang up $36 million domestically.
The Dirty Grandpa unrated home entertainment release comes loaded with hilarious special features including a behind-the-scenes featurette, a gag reel and more.

Dirty Grandpa was hilarious. I laughed a lot while watching it. I’d really like to see a long gag reel.
