The film’s story concerns Zev (Christopher Plummer, The Last Station), an Auschwitz survivor who discovers that the Nazi guard who murdered his family some seventy years ago is living in America under an assumed identity. With the aid of a friend (Martin Landau, Crimes and Misdemeanors), Zev sets out on a gripping journey that tests both his will and his fading memory as it brings him closer to the retribution he seeks.
A 2015 Venice Film Festival Official Selection, the R-rated movie also features Bruno Ganz (The American Friend), Jürgen Prochnow (Das Boot), Henry Czerny (The A-Team) and Dean Norris (TV’s Breaking Bad).
