John Wayne (Red River), Sophia Loren (Marriage Italian Style) and Rossano Brazzi (South Pacific) ignite the screen in the 1957 adventure film Legend of the Lost.

Legend1_optIntrepid guide Joe January (Wayne) and treasure hunter Paul Bonnard (Brazzi), who hires Joe to help locate the fabled lost city of Ophir and its treasure, will find their partnership tested when they’re joined by Dita (Loren), a woman of ill repute who finds herself falling in love with both men.

Photographed in widescreen Technicolor by the great Jack Cardiff (Black Narcissus, The Red Shoes), Legend of the Lost is directed by Henry Hathaway (True Grit) from a screenplay by Ben Hecht and Robert Presnell.
