Michael Shannon (99 Homes) and Kevin Spacey (TV’s House of Cards) star in the untold story behind an iconic meeting in the comedy-drama Elvis & Nixon.

elvis_and_nixon_optOn a December morning in 1970, Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ’n Roll (Shannon), showed up on the lawn of the White House to request a meeting with the most powerful man in the world, President Richard M. Nixon (Spacey). Based on the real-life events, the film offers the untold story behind what transpired in this remarkable Oval Office meeting, which was forever immortalized in the most requested photograph in the National Archives.

Directed by Liza Johnson, the film also stars Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike), Johnny Knoxville (Jackass franchise), Colin Hanks (Barry Munday) and Ashley Benson (Pixels).

Blu-ray, DVD and digital extras include an audio commentary with director Johnson and executive producer Jerry Schilling and the “Crazy But True” featurette, in which the cast and crew talk about the untold story behind Elvis and Nixon.
