The 2015 German production The People vs. Fritz Bauer was co-written and directed by Lars Kraume.

fritz1_optA biographical, fact-based drama-thriller, the film is set in Germany, 1957, where  Attorney General Fritz Bauer has received crucial evidence on the whereabouts of SS-Obersturmbannführer Adolf Eichmann, a monstrous Nazi senior official. Bauer, himself Jewish, has been trying to take crimes from the Third Reich to court ever since his return from Danish exile, but has met with little success due to the fierce German determination to repress its sinister past. Because of his distrust of the German justice system, Bauer contacts the Israeli secret service Mossad, and, by doing so, commits treason. But Bauer is not seeking revenge for the Holocaust — he is concerned with the German future.

The winner of a handful of critics and festival nominations and awards in Europe, including four German Film Awards, Fritz Bauer—in its DVD and Blu-ray incarnations—includes the following bonus features:

-Five deleted scenes
-Making-of featurette
