Liam Neeson is U.S. Army General Douglas MacArthur in Battle for Incheon

In the film, U.S. Army General Douglas MacArthur (Liam Neeson, the Taken trilogy) is appointed head of the United Nations Command at the height of the Korean War. As the war drags on MacArthur dispatches eight elite, South Korean military men on a suicide mission code-named “Operation Chromite,” a covert operation to infiltrate North Korean headquarters far behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, the men must stay alive long enough to achieve the impossible … sabotage the North to clear the way for the naval incursion which may finally turn the tide (and does!).

Directed by South Korean filmmaker John H. Lee, the film also stars South Korean superstars Lee Jung-jae and Jin Se-Yun.

One of South Korea’s largest summer blockbusters with over 7 million admissions, Battle was also released in theaters across the U.S. last year.
