A noir-flavored thriller-romance filled with usual genre mix of obsession, jealousy, betrayal and love, Frank & Lola stars the intriguing duo of Michael Shannon (Elvis & Nixon) and Imogen Poots (Knight of Cups).

Set in Las Vegas and Paris, the movie concerns talented chef Frank (Shannon), who meets aspiring fashion designer Lola (Poots) and quickly falls violently in love. As the secrets of Lola’s dark past are revealed, the lovers are drawn into a web of—you guessed it!—sex, jealousy and revenge.

Written and directed by first-time feature helmer Matthew Ross, this official 2016 Sundance Selection also stars Justin Long (Funny People, He’s Just Not That Into You), Michael Nyqvist (Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol) and Rosanna Arquette (Repo Chick).

F & L received so-so notices from the critics upon its limited theatrical release in December, 2016; it garnered a 66% Fresh rating at aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based upon 35 published reviews.
