French filmmaker Delphine Lehericey’s coming-of-age drama Puppylove stars Solene Rigot as the enigmatic, fourteen-year-old Diane, a loner who juggles looking after her little brother Marc while negotiating a turbulent relationship with her father, Christian.

Diane’s life drastically changes when she meets the charismatic Julia, a free-spirited new neighbor who exudes independence, spontaneity, and an adventurous spirit. Willing to go to any lengths to break the chains of childhood, Diane is whisked away to experience nightlife and exploits that involve mysterious men, nightclubbing, and a world of unbridled desire.

Winner of the Youth Award at San Sebastian Film Festival, Puppylove also stars Vincent Perez (Arn: The Knight Templar) and Audrey Basiten.
