Oh-so-American leading man Tony Curtis (The Vikings) leads an international all-star cast in the 1969 romantic action-adventure comedy Those Daring Young Men in their Jaunty Jalopies.

Originally entitled Monte Carlo or Bust!, this follow-up to 1965’s Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines is set in (surprise!) Monte Carlo. It follows the dashing Schofield (Curtis) as he teams up with the scheming Count (Terry-Thomas, It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World) in a zany, winner-take-all car rally beset with scheming competitors, treacherous cliffs and a very beguiling blonde.

The cast includes Peter Cook (Bedazzled), Dudley Moore (Arthur), Bourvil (Le Cercle Rouge), Jack Hawkins (Ben-Hur), Mireille Darc (Weekend), Walter Chiari (Bellissima), Lando Buzzanca (After the Fox), Marie Dubois (Shoot the Piano Player), Gert Frobe (Goldfinger), Nicoletta Machiavelli (Navajo Joe) and Derren Nesbitt (Where Eagles Dare).

Directed by Ken Annakin (Battle of the Bulge), Kino Lorber’s new editions of the movie include an audio commentary by film historian David Del Valle and trailers as bonus features.
