Arnold Schwarzenegger (Sabotage) stars in the action-filled “docu-comedy” Killing Gunther, written and directed by Taran Killam (late of TV’s Saturday Night Live) in his directorial debut.

A group of young, raw, and undisciplined assassins hire a documentary film crew at gunpoint to have undeniable proof that they’re the ones who will kill the most infamous hit man of all time, Gunther (Schwarzenegger), in the hope of advancing their own careers. But Gunther is on to them before they know it and makes their lives a living hell, turning the hunters into the prey in a kill-or-be-killed race against time.
Killam stars in the film, along with his former SNL buddy Bobby Moynihan, and How I Met your Mother‘s Cobie Smulders (Killam’s wife).
A mock-doc in the mold of those associated with Christopher Guest (Best in Show), Killing Gunther received so-so notices upon its limited theatrical release in October, garnering a 53% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes based on 17 published reviews.
Bonus features on the discs include deleted scenes and the inevitable blooper reel.
