MVD Rewind Collection has gone the special edition route in its re-issue of the 1988 action flick Black Eagle, a video store staple of its era starring Jean-Claude Van Damme (Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning) and martial arts superstar Sho Kosugi (TV’s The Master).

After an F-11 sporting a state-of-the-art laser tracking device gets shot down over the Mediterranean Sea, a KGB team lead by the infamous Andrei (Van Damme) attempts to beat the CIA in the race to find it. The CIA as no choice but to call in their best man, master martial-artist Ken Tani (Kosugi): code name Black Eagle. And the fight is on!

Directed and produced by Eric Karson, the film also stars Doran Clark (The Warriors), Bruce French (Jurassic Park III) and William Bassett (House of 1000 Corpses).

MVD Rewind Collection’s edition includes two versions of the film and two hours-plus of additional materials. Here’s the complete rundown:
