The irrepressible Christine Baranski stars in the CBS television series drama The Good Fight: Season One as Diane Lockhart, the tough-as-nails Chicago attorney character she created in the dearly departed show The Good Wife.

Picking up after the events of the final broadcast episode of The Good Wife, Season One of The Good Fight follows Diane after a multimillion-dollar investment scam has ruined her plan for retirement, wiped out her savings and tainted her reputation. A disgraced Diane is forced out of her own law firm, prompting her to join another distinguished company as a junior partner. Diane recruits Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie), a promising young attorney with her own baggage, and is reunited with her ex-employee, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), who’s made a name for herself since leaving Lockhart/Gardner. Under the pressure to both rebuild and maintain their lives, this fearless team of women all have something to prove and nothing to lose.
