Produced in Italy in 2015 and set in beautiful Mediterranean locations, Body of Deceit, directed by Alessandro Capone (Hidden Love) and starring Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), Antonio Cupo, and Sarai Givaty, plays like one of those erotic thrillers that were banged out ad nauseam by direct-to-video houses back in the Nineties and early 2000s.

The heat is on for Kristanna Loken in Body of Deceit.

It follows a ghostwriter named Alice (Loken) who can’t finish her book because of a memory loss sustained from a traumatic injury suffered in the Mediterranean a year earlier. Returning to the island to clear her head, she meets the sensual Sara (Givaty) and a shady stranger named Castellano (Giulio Berruti) and things get even sexier…and dangerous…

There’s lots of sex—primarily of the lesbian nature—and a solid-enough dash of mystery in Body of Deceit, making it a watchable-enough genre entry.
