Sean Connery (Meteor) and Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany’s) star as the legendary lovers Robin Hood and Maid Marian who reunite twenty years after their first meeting in the 1976 romantic period adventure Robin and Marian, which is coming from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on November 20.

This one was announced  last month by slipped my us, but we’re psyched to let you know now as it’s one of our favorite cinematic takes on the much-loved Robin Hood tale. We’re thinking Sony got inspired to slip this one out to tie in to this week’s theatrical release of the Lionsgate’s Robin Hood starring Taron Eggerton and Eve Hewson.

In 1976’s Robin and Marian, directed by Richard Lester (Juggernaut), Marian, now the mother superior of a nunnery, finds herself drawn to an aging (and less agile) Robin Hood when he returns from a lengthy Crusade in the Holy Lands.

The high-octane supporting cast includes Denholm Elliott (The Wicked Lady), Richard Harris (Hawaii), Ian Holm (Time Bandits), Robert Shaw (Jaws) and Nicol Williamson (Excalibur).
