Charles Bronson (The Mechanic, Hard Times) and Anthony Perkins (Psycho) co-star in the 1971 thriller Someone Behind The Door, directed by Nicolas Gessner (The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane).

Laurence Jeffries (Perkins) is a neurosurgeon dedicated to his research and neglectful of his beautiful wife Francis (Jill Ireland, Breakheart Pass), who leaves him for another man. The vindictive doctor plots a diabolical scheme—conditioning an amnesiac patient (Bronson) into believing that Francis is his own wife—so that he can take revenge by proxy, with a perfect alibi.

Bronson gives his acting chops a spin in what has been considered one of his more convincing performances. Beautifully shot by legendary DP Pierre Lhomme (Le Joli Mai, King of Hearts), the film also stars Henry Garcin.

Kino Lorber’s new Blu-ray and DVD editions include a new audio commentary by director Gessner, a radio spot and a trailer.
