From Steven Soderbergh, the director of Contagion, The Limey, Erin Brockovich, Ocean’s Eleven and Magic Mike, comes the 1995 neo-noir thriller The Underneath, based on the novel Criss Cross by Don Tracy.

Peter Gallagher (Summer Lovers), Elisabeth Shue (Leaving Las Vegas), William Fichtner (Drive Angry) and Shelley Duvall (The Shining). are on board for all the  passion, danger, betrayal and murder that goes with the territory in a noir crime drama.

As for the story, a charming drifter (Gallagher) returns to his “home,” where he makes a desperate and very dangerous deal in order to reclaim his ex-girlfriend (Elliott). But the, passion ignites into obsession and things get messy…

Blu-ray extras include an audio commentary by film historian Peter Tonguette and a theatrical trailer.
