In Long Arm of The Law, thugs sneak into Hong Kong to rob a jewelry store, then kill a cop during their getaway. They plan another heist while hiding from the police hunting them down to avenge the slain comrade.

In Long Arm of the Law II, suspecting that a mastermind is behind a sudden crime wave, the Royal Hong Kong Police Force sends in three undercover agents to crack a violent crime ring.

Directed by Johnny Mak (To Be Number One) and his brother, Michael Mak (Sex and Zen, Butterfly and Sword) respectively, Long Arm of the Law and Long Arm of the Law Part 2. are packed full of Hong Kong-style action sequences, thrills, and spills, and provide an explosive prelude to what would eventually become a quadrilogy of martial arts thrillers.
