The Starz TV mini-series The White Queen based on Philippa Gregory‘s best-selling novels looks at the classic tale of the War of the Roses, the feud between the York and Lancaster families for the throne of England, from the viewpoint of the women: Elizabeth Woodville (Rebecca Woodville, Vi), Margaret Beaufort (Amanda Hale, TVs Ripper Street) and Anne Neville (Faye Marsay, Is That It?).

The White Queen is filled with love, lust, seduction, deception, betrayal, murder and everything else we’ve come to expect from premium cable television series about the England of yesteryear—and supplier Anchor Bay has provided Disc Dish with two Blu-ray copies of the show to give away to a pair of lucky readers!

A co-production between Starz and the BBC, The White Queen reportedly did very well for Starz but not so well for the BBC, which opted not to continue with the property. Directed by Philipp Stölzl and starring Benno Furmann, Florian Lukas and Johanna Wokalek, North Face is based on the true story of a 1936 attempt to scale the most dangerous rock face in the Alps, the North Face of the Eiger, by two competing climbing teams. But after Bruce posts a video of a bad one-night stand with the drunk daughter (Lizzy Caplan, Hot Tub Time Machine) of an ex-movie star, things get out of hand.
