New Release: Crazy On the Outside DVD and Blu-ray

Crazy On the Outside movie scene with Tim AllenThe directorial debut of comedian Tim Allen, Crazy On the Outside was released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 13, 2010, by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Naturally, the movie is a comedy, and it has a decent cast of recognizably faces. As well as Allen, who also stars in the film, Crazy On the Outside features Sigourney Weaver (Alien), Julie Bowen (TV’s Modern Family), Ray Liotta (Something Wild), Jeanne Tripplehorn (HBO’s Big love), J.K. Simmons (Juno) and Kelsey Grammer (TV’s Fraser).

The film, which had a limited release in theaters, tells the story of Tommy who has just been released from prison and discovers like on the outside is crazier than when he was behind bars. He can’t get any alone time, what with his eccentric sister (Weaver), ex-girlfriend (Bowen ) and former partner in crime (Liotta) all getting on his back. All this, while he’s meeting the girl of his dreams.

The special features package on the DVD and Blu-ray is slim, but the discs will have a making-of featurette (“Inside Crazy On the Outside“) and a gag reel.
