Iconic band The Doors is the subject of the documentary When You’re Strange, which was released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 29, 2010, from Eagle Rock Entertainment.

Documentary When You’re Strange had a brief theatrical run, and DiCillo talked about one showing on his blog. The movie premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and was an Official Selection at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival.
A soundtrack CD from the film also will be available.
