New Release: The Spy Next Door DVD and Blu-ray

The Spy Next Door movie scene with Jackie ChanJackie Chan action comedy The Spy Next Door was released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 18, 2010.

Lionsgate‘s PG movie features the martial arts star using his skills for something new: babysitting. Chan plays a spy whose cover is blown when he looks after his neighbor’s kids and they accidentally download secret codes on his computer. The bad guys come after them, and Chan must fight them off in the middle of suburbia, while keeping the kids out of harm and trouble.

Spy looking after rowdy kids is nothing knew for Hollywood. Remember Vin Diesel’s The Pacifier? Chan’s new version made considerably less at the box office, $25 million compared to Pacifier’s $113 million.
