Hit comedy TV show Community, starring Joel McHale (The Informant!), Chevy Chase (Caddyshack) and Ken Jeong (The Hangover), came on DVD on Sept. 21, 2010, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
The sitcom, which airs on NBC, follows a group of misfits at Greendale Community College.
The DVD set Community: The Complete First Season contains all 25 episodes, including the popular “Modern Warfare” paintball episode. The season featured guest stars including singer Katharine McPhee and a cameo by Owen Wilson (The Darjeeling Limited).
The DVD is packaged with an exclusive comic book called Kickpuncher, a 12-page color collectible about a crime-fighting superhero created by Community character Troy Barnes and illustrated by artist Jim Mahfood. The first edition comic includes a pull-out poster of “Annie and Britta Unleashed!”
The Community four-DVD set, which was priced at $39.95, also offers these special features:
