New Release: (Untitled) DVD and Blu-ray

The quirky worlds of contemporary art and music are set on a collision course in the romantic comedy (Untitled) , which arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on Sept. 21, 2010, from Screen Media.

A satirical commentary on the state of contemporary art, the movie tells the story of a contemporary art gallery employee, Madeleine (Marley Shelton, A Perfect Getaway), who falls for Adrian (Adam Goldberg, Zodiac), a brooding new music composer. The two struggle to find their own artistic success — not to mention love — as the streets of Manhattan bombard them with artists, from Adrian’s commercial brother (Eion Bailey) to those who use taxidermy and household objects.

Directed by Jonathan Parker (Bartleby) and cinematographer Manfred Baumann in his directorial debut, the film also stars Lucy Punch (Dinner for Schmucks) and Vinnie Jones (Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins Ball).

(Untitled) was priced at $29.98 on Blu-ray and $24.98 on DVD.

The movie had a limited theatrical run, but only in a handful of markets, so the home entertainment release was the first for most viewers.
