1996 action movie The Long Kiss Goodnight, starring a blond Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson (not blond), bowed on high-definition Blu-ray on Jan. 11, 2011, from Warner Home Video.
In the R-rated film, Davis plays a suburban mom who comes out of amnesia only to remember that she’s an elite government assassin. Jackson plays the detective who helps her unlock her memory, while rogue agents try to bury her.
The film was directed by Die Hard 2‘s Renny Harlin with a screenplay by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon).
On the special features side, the Long Kiss Goodnight Blu-ray is light, offering just a making-of featurette on top of the usual theatrical trailers.
The Blu-ray is priced at $19.98.
The movie grossed $33 million when it was in theaters.
