Independent action movie Language of the Enemy was released on DVD on Oct. 12, 2010, from MTI Home Video.
Set in the present-day war turmoil of the Middle East, drama film Language of the Enemy tells the story of a Jewish American businessman (Eion Bailey of TV’s Covert Affairs) who, after traveling to Israel for his father’s funeral, is persuaded to do a brief reconnaissance mission for the Israeli Secret Service inside the city of Ramallah. The assignment goes wrong, however, and Bailey gets trapped behind enemy lines with a Palestinian woman (Linda Hardy of Immortal). Bailey is forced to re-examine his worldview, and the two must decide if they can trust each other.
The R-rated movie, which was written and directed by Mitch Davis (The Other Side of Heaven), also stars F. Murray Abraham (Finding Forrester) and Tovah Feldshuh (Kissing Jessica Stein). The 2008 film, which runs 105 minutes, was originally called A House Divided.
Language of the Enemy did not receive a theatrical release in the U.S., so the DVD was its premiere.
Presented in 16.9 widescreen and 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound, the DVD was priced at $24.95.
