Romantic comedy Going the Distance, starring on-again-off-again couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, arrived on DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 30, 2010, from Warner Home Video after a quick run in theaters.
In the movie, Barrymore and Long play a couple who try to keep their love alive long distance while they travel between New York and San Francisco to see each other.
The first feature film directed by documentarian Nanette Burstein, Going the Distance grossed a slim $17.8 million in a six-week run in theaters, bowing at the box office on Sept. 5.
Charlie Day (TV’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Christina Applegate (Anchor Man: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) also star.
The romantic comedy is rated R to make it “more real and more adult,” Barrymore told the Los Angeles Times.
The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, which includes a downloadable digital copy of the movie, was priced at $35.99. The DVD was priced at $28.98.
